The STV Appeal 2011 was a great success raising over 1.2 million for children in poverty, this year we are continuing our fight for this cause and we need your help.

The STV Appeal in 2012 will:

• Continue to support the cause of children in poverty in Scotland, 1 in 4 children in Scotland live in poverty
• Every £ donated stays in Scotland
• Every £ will be matchfunded again in 2012 by the Scottish Government
• The costs of the Appeal are underwritten by STV and The Hunter Foundation
• The main Appeal week will be in September time again this year however fundraising planned throughout the year

It wasn’t just Adele and Ed Sheeran winning at the Brits last night – STV won the slot – 3 TVRs and 7 share points ahead of the next best channel.

The show had an average audience of 9.9 TVRs, 22.8% share and 454,000 viewers – up 9% on last years awards.

Great performance for 16-34s averaging 13.4 TVRs and 37.2% share with 16-34 women averaging 16.3 TVRs and 38.8% share.

Lots of activity online as well - over 3,000 catch-up views on STV Player already and over 800 views of the other video clips.

Its here, you can now watch the STV promo for the brand new four-part adaptation of Titanic, written by Oscar winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes (also writer for Downton Abbey) to commemorate the 100th aniversary of the doomed voyage.
